I love this quote. I feel it in my body, know it in my heart. Unfortunately there is so much disconnection in our lives and I find the current political tension is further dividing. In my practice one of the biggest theme that is surfacing is: loneliness. Loneliness and isolation is negatively effecting our physical and mental health.
The Wellesley Center for Woman developed theory and conducted a research regarding human connection/ isolation. They concluded that isolation is our worst enemy.
Let’s focus on what can we do? Reaching out when we already feeling awful and alone is really hard, but please try. Here are some links to help:

I had a friend who told me: ” Sometimes you just have to put on a pot of soup for your tribe”. So this is what I do, I put on a pot of soup or have a BBQ just to see my friends and hang out. Especially in times like the USA election, when there is so much angst about what is going to happen.
Other ideas/places to connect with like minded people searching for connection.
Join a sports club or go and learn singing or an instrument, or just something new.
Check out your local community center, they usually hold free events.
