Discover the courage to live wholeheartedly

26th of January 2022

I am writing to you today from the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nations as I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this Country. I recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters, family, kinship and storytelling.
As an immigrant to this beautiful continent, I feel very grateful to live here. I feel that there is a lot to celebrate in this country, and I also know there is a lot to mourn. So, without going into political arguments, I reflect on how to hold the tension of the opposites. But, in my experience, we cannot do it without acknowledging and experiencing our and our fellow humans’ feelings and collectively making an effort to heal from trauma.
I do not know all the answers to how to do that, so I chose to listen and learn and included some resources if you would like to do the same.
I wish you a connected, reflective and peaceful 26th of January 2022.
